6-Month Countdown to a Big Event

A wedding, a milestone birthday, a dream trip — a month-by-month timeline for skin, weight and hormones so results land on the day.

Whether you're getting ready for a wedding, a milestone birthday, or a dream vacation, the best results come from starting early.

Skin health, weight goals, and even hormonal balance take time to address properly. By having a solid plan in place, you'll feel confident and look your best on the big day.

We've created a step-by-step timeline to guide you through the next six months.

6 months before: the consultation and game plan

Always start with an in-depth consultation with a trusted, licensed provider. This is when you meet with your aesthetic provider to discuss your goals, skin concerns, and the event date. Together, you'll decide what treatments make the most sense for you.

Your provider should look into:

  • Skin health: concerns like pigmentation, fine lines, loss of volume, or acne scarring.
  • Wellness goals: improving energy levels, addressing weight concerns, or managing a possible hormonal imbalance.
  • Event timeline: when you want results to be visible, natural, and healed.

What might be included:

  • Bloodwork to check hormones (thyroid, testosterone, estrogen, and more).
  • Starting medical weight loss options like semaglutide, tirzepatide, or peptide therapy, if appropriate.
  • A comprehensive plan that may include lasers, microneedling, and injectables.

Starting early ensures that everything is spaced properly for optimal results.

5 months before: begin core treatments and wellness support

  • Laser resurfacing (BBL/Moxi) or chemical peels: targets pigmentation, redness, acne, and uneven texture while stimulating collagen production.
  • SkinPen microneedling with exosomes: improves tone and texture with minimal downtime.
  • Medically supervised weight loss program: medications, nutrition counseling, or metabolism-boosting protocols may start now for safe, gradual results.
  • Hormone therapy, if needed: if labs reveal imbalances, bio-identical hormone replacement or other therapies can be initiated to enhance energy, mood, metabolism, and overall well-being.
  • NAD+ and vitamin infusions: support cellular health, energy, and recovery throughout the process.

3–4 months before: building momentum

  • Second or third laser/microneedling sessions to maximize skin improvement.
  • Refine weight goals: adjust your nutrition plan or medications as needed with your provider.
  • Neuromodulator injections (Botox, Dysport): starting now, these naturally soften fine lines before the event.

At this point, most people start to notice significant changes in their skin and overall health.

2 months before: fine-tuning

  • Dermal fillers: for subtle lip or cheek enhancements, schedule now so swelling resolves before the event.
  • Hormone and weight progress check: labs or measurements may be repeated to track progress and make final adjustments.
  • Final microneedling or laser session: skin has time to heal while collagen continues to build.

3–4 weeks before: last touches

  • Botox/Dysport touch-up, if needed: gives time for results to settle in naturally.
  • HydraFacial or light chemical peel: brightens and smooths skin without downtime.
  • Vitamin and hydration infusions: support immunity, hydration, and energy in the lead-up to the big day.

The week of: keep it simple

  • Hydration IV or B12 shot for a quick boost of energy and radiance.
  • Skincare routine: stick to your usual products. No new treatments or harsh peels this close to the event.
  • Hydrate and rest. Sleep and hydration are just as important as treatments.

Day of: confidence and results

Since you got a head start, your skin is radiant, your energy is stable, and your confidence shines through — because you've taken the time to care for yourself, inside and out.
